Rates
Prices that follow the length of the walk, not a menu of tiers
These figures are starting points for a single depot of ordinary wholesale scale in Great Britain. A bonded cage, a separate chilled house, or a second building is scoped after we have seen the gate.
| Commission | What the figure covers | From |
|---|---|---|
| Pick-path observation day | One site day and a written aisle plan within three working days | £950 |
| Peak cut-off calendar | One named peak week, one depot, sitting with despatch and pick lead | £1,850 |
| Exception board commission | Design from a week of your notes plus the first print run | £1,200 |
| Inbound delay mapping | A run of receipt mornings and a dock-to-put-away wall strip | £2,400 |
| Warehouse fulfilment visibility study | Three weeks including observation, boards, cut-off sketch, and on-site briefing | £4,800 |
What moves a figure up
Night-shift observation, a second induction, a multi-building site, and travel to Northern Ireland or offshore islands are written as supplements before we book. Reprinting an unchanged exception board is charged at print cost. We do not offer monthly retainers; if you want a second peak calendar later in the year, that is a second commission.
Deposits and when we invoice
A thirty percent deposit holds the first walk-through date. The balance is invoiced after the briefing or, for a single observation day, after the written note. See the refund notice for what happens if a visit is cancelled or a study is already underway.
How to get a firm figure
Send the depot town, the building count, and the pause you already suspect. We will answer with a range or a fixed note within two working days. Rates are informational; nothing on this page is a checkout.
