Terms of engagement
These terms apply when you enquire about or commission a study, observation day, calendar, or exception board from Utilityroutecore. Last updated 19 August 2026.
Acceptance
By sending an enquiry, paying a deposit, or confirming a walk-through date in writing, you accept these terms. If you are booking on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company. We may decline work that requires warehouse software installation, photography of people, or access we cannot safely take.
The work
We provide observation, drawing, printed boards, calendars, and briefings as described on the relevant study page and in any scoped note we send. The work is professional service, not a software licence. Dates depend on your host, induction, and the receipt or pick windows you nominate.
Your responsibilities
You provide a named host, site induction, truthful information about hazards, and the paper you say you will share. You remain responsible for health and safety on your site and for any operational change you make after a briefing.
Fees and deposits
Guide rates appear on the rates page. A scoped note may replace a guide figure. A thirty percent deposit holds the first visit. Invoices are payable within fourteen days unless the scoped note says otherwise. Prices on the site are informational and are not an offer to sell at checkout.
Intellectual property
You may use boards, calendars, and notes we prepare for your depot’s internal operations, including reprinting an unchanged exception board. You may not resell those materials or present them as another practice’s work. We retain the right to reuse anonymous methods and general observations that do not identify your suppliers, locations, or staff.
Confidentiality
We will not publish your late lists, rosters, or carrier names. Journal notes on this site are written only where a client has allowed the story, with identifying detail reduced.
Liability
We take reasonable care in observation and drawing. We do not warrant that a board will shorten lead times or prevent missed collections. Our liability for a commission is limited to the fees paid for that commission, except where the law of the United Kingdom does not allow a limit, including death or personal injury caused by negligence and fraud. We are not liable for lost profits, lost orders, or labour disputes arising from how you use a briefing.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the United Kingdom, and the courts of the United Kingdom have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you have as a consumer if you book as a private individual.
